The World Series has returned to Canada, and the Blue Jays are hoping that tonight will be the end of a drought that has lasted over thirty years. Things seemed somewhat lost for the Jays for a brief period, but they have turned things around, winning the last two games, and are now within one win of being crowned the new World Series champions. The Dodgers have been flailing somewhat, seeming to forget they are able to hit baseballs, and the Jays have taken advantage of it, plus having one of the most
interesting rookie pitchers in postseason history to make things extra interesting.
There will be a lot to pay attention to tonight, and while baseball lovers might crave a full seven-game series just to maximize their baseball for the year, but Toronto fans are probably hoping tonight is the night.
We will see!
There are also Dodgers stories on the flipside of this, one of which was veteran superstar Clayton Kershaw saying goodbye to the stadium where he spent his whole career. This moment is just so sweet that it needs to be shared here before we get into the rest of today’s post.
