Cody Rhodes showed a glimpse of his dark side last week on SmackDown when he punted Baron Corbin’s head off. As a result, WWE commentators revealed tonight (Oct. 23) that Corbin is out indefinitely due to various contusions, strains, and whatnot.
Orton and Rhodes were both in the ring tonight for another talking segment. Orton was impressed with Cody’s balls last week but remains confident that Cody will hesitate to punt him. Cody responded by calling Orton a cowardly little bitch, and saying “RKO”
has been replaced by “IOU” as the three most dangerous letters in WWE.
Things escalated from there, so GM Nick Aldis came out and booked them in a Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel, which is currently scheduled to take place on Nov. 7 in a war zone in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I suppose that’s a very fitting gimmick match to have over there right now.
Do you think Cody will punt Randy’s head off at Crown Jewel, or will he hesitate again? Who will be the Last Man Standing in Saudi Arabia? Let me know your thoughts on this match in the comments below, Cagesiders.
