My word.
After weeks of LA Knight having to carry the promotion of his world heavyweight championship match against Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank this weekend, The Tribal Chief finally showed up to Monday Night Raw this week to get involved.
And he absolutely bodied LA.
Look at him go:
“I’m a doer, and you’re a complainer. Any chance you get… ‘oh, there are no plans for me, they don’t have anything for me.‘
You wanna know the plans? Oh, we got plans for ya. You’re just another egg in the omelette. And on Saturday, I’m gonna break your bitch ass. You can say it all you want but they know the truth — I’m the only megastar here, I’m the only true champion. I live it, I breathe it, and I eat it, and when I’m eating it, it’s at the head of the table.”
They cut the latter half of that quote off but I wish they had included it because Roman’s delivery was incredible here.
Knight got the chance to respond before they segment ended:
His angle was to call Reigns a “manufactured, corporate puppet, industry plant” and claimed the rocket was shoved so far up his ass he should be spitting out rocket fuel. But he’ll make him spit something out on Saturday, maybe “those big, oversized, ultraviolet teeth of yours.”
He got a decent enough response for that but Reigns has the benefit of actually being the guy, giving his words the kind of weight Knight simply cannot contend with.
Either way, this was a fantastic promo to build some hype for their match in New Orleans.
