Some are calling it cinematic, but let’s be honest, Bills fans. That game was a mess from start to finish. Missed connections that turned into missed opportunities, turnovers, and a defense that looked lost far too often. But in the end, it was a win. A very strange, brutal win, but a win’s a win, right?
And along the way, there were actually some pretty good things that happened. So that’s what we’re going to focus on in this week’s edition of Shout!outs.

Josh Allen found a way to make NFL history despite throwing the ball just 20 times. Of course, it helped that he also ran for 121 yards, the second-highest rushing total of his career. When the passing game isn’t working quite right, Allen can just take care of things himself.

For the first time in team history, the Bills had a quarterback and running back each rush for more than 100 yards in the same game. And Josh Allen and James Cook weren’t done there. They also tied an NFL record for the most regular-season games in which both teammates scored a rushing touchdown.

Five games, five rushing touchdowns. Josh Allen has found his way into the end zone with his legs in every game this season, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to start a season with a rushing touchdown in each of his team’s first five games.

James Cook is putting together quite a start to the season. His 532 rushing yards through five games rank third in franchise history. And with two trips to the end zone Monday night, Cook now has 40 career rushing touchdowns, including the playoffs, joining a pretty short list of Bills who have reached that number.

Greg Rousseau apparently has a thing for blocking field goals. The last time the Bills blocked one was Oct. 13, 2025, against the Atlanta Falcons. Rousseau got that one, too. Almost exactly a year later, he’s did it again. This time, the end result was better though.

We spent Monday night yelling at our televisions, and we’ll probably spend the rest of the week yelling about coaching decisions. There was plenty to complain about, and I’m sure we’ll get to all of it. But there’s still plenty worth Shout!ingabout, too.
