Jonathan Santucci struck out six, didn’t walk anyone, and gave up just one run in five innings of work, and Syracuse jumped out to a 4-0 lead early in this one. Unfortunately, Justin Hagenman wasn’t nearly as effective in his two innings of work, giving up three runs to allow St. Paul to tie the game. And Chayce McDermott surrendered the decisive run in the bottom of the ninth.

with a run in the top of that inning before putting together a four-run seventh inning that decided the game Will Watson was okay in his start, but the Rumble Ponies’ bullpen were fantastic, combining to throw 5.2 innings with nine strikeouts, one walk, three hits, and just one run—an unearned one, at that—allowed.
