MLB Playoff Scores…
- The White Sox dispatched the Astros before October even began, winning 7-3 to sweep the series and advance to the ALDS.
- The Yankees’ bats went off once again, teeing off Garrett Crochet in his first appearance back from injury in a 9-2 ballgame to punch their ticket to the ALDS.
- The Cubs bats failed to get going yet again, allowing the Padres to sweep the series with a 4-1 victory.
- The Phillies drew even with the Braves thanks to a trio of homers, including an extra-inning bomb from Alec Bohm, in a 4-3 win. They’ll play the deciding match this evening.
