Real Madrid are reportedly continuing with attempts to have Barcelona stripped of their titles over the Negreira Case.
Los Blancos have already contacted UEFA to call for their bitter rivals to be banned from European competition and their titles taken away. A new report from Diario AS claims Madrid’s lawyers are continuing to put in the work and are “pushing to uncover the full extent” of the saga.
Real Madrid are said have asked the judge overseeing the case to demand Barcelona provide all the documentation
relating to “its entire compliance system between 2010 and 2018.”
The reason behind the move is to “examine what internal controls existed during that period to prevent sporting corruption and whether those measures were actually implemented.”
Madrid have also asked the Guardia Civil to provide further documentation to help with the investigation and say that “the full truth must come out” as they pursue Barca though sporting institutions and also the Spanish courts.
