When Royce Keys teased The 946 coming to NXT television this week, it seemed clear how exactly it was going to play out.
Cruz Montana just joined the group on Monday Night Raw and he was scheduled for an Unsanctioned match against Dion Lennox. Darkstate was surely going to get involved, and late in the match that’s exactly what happened. Only this time, Montana had some real backup.
The lights went out and when they came back up, Jaida Parker was shouting at the trio before they panned to the rest
of 946 — Keys, Carmelo Hayes, and OTM — out in the crowd. They got as loud of an ovation as you could reasonably expect from the Performance Center faithful, treated like returning heroes.
Back in the ring, Montana spun the block and scored the pinfall victory to win the night for his crew.
They were showered with “946, ain’t nobody safe” chants as they stood in the ring in celebration of their victory.
The WWE main roster is running over NXT on this show, huh?
