What is the story about?
Despite what appears to be tampering by Miami to get Duke quarterback Darian Mensah, it was not in anyone’s interest to have a drawn out legal battle and so Duke and Mensah reached an agreement that resolved the dispute.
Terms of the agreement are not immediately available, but Duke told ESPN that it was “always about upholding a contract.”
We live in a Wild West now and while no one really objects anymore to players being paid, you see what sort of people are peeing in the pool. One of those seems
to be Mario Christobal. The Duke-Miami game this year should be fairly intense.
