All four teams in the AFC North now sit at 2-1, making it the only division where all teams have a winning record through three weeks.
Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1)
The Steelers defeated the visiting Bengals on Sunday by a score of 30-27.
Pittsburgh’s offense found life in Week 3 with 411 total yards after a slow start to the season. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers rebounded from his poor performance in Week 2, completing 19 of 34 passes for 292 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. Rodgers’ leading receiver was tight end Darnell
Washington, with three receptions for 67 yards, including a 47-yard reception that led to a Chris Boswell field goal to give the Steelers a three-point lead with just over two minutes remaining. Running back Jaylen Warren had a successful day on the ground, racking up 127 yards on 17 carries while adding another 49 yards through the air on three receptions. Wide receiver D.K. Metcalf found the end zone for the first time this season on a six-yard touchdown catch, while Roman Wilson and Ben Skowronek caught Rodgers’ other two touchdowns.
The Steelers’ defense found themselves against the wall with the game on the line as Cincinnati, down three, had the ball with a little over two minutes remaining in the game. As they have so many times before, Pittsburgh’s defense rose to the occasion as defensive tackle Derrick Harmon forced a fumble on a sack of Joe Burrow that was recovered by fellow DT Sebastian Joseph-Day to end the game. Harmon’s sack was the team’s only of the day, but it was all they needed in the end. Former Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen led the defense with 13 total tackles.
Cincinnati Bengals (2-1)
The Bengals dropped their first game of the season with a 30-27 loss on the road to the Steelers.
QB Joe Burrow’s game-losing fumble at the end of the game put a damper on an otherwise strong day, as the star quarterback completed 28 of 37 pass attempts for 282 yards and three touchdowns. WR Ja’Marr Chase led the offense with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, with his running mate Tee Higgins not far behind with six catches for 90 yards and a score as well. TE Mike Gesicki also caught a touchdown to go with 37 yards on three catches. RB Chase Brown was the leading rusher with 61 yards on 13 carries.
Cincinnati’s defense came back down to Earth against Pittsburgh, allowing 411 total yards, after two strong games to start the season. LB Demetrius Knight was the leading tackler with 9, while DT Dexter Lawrence had the team’s two sacks against Rodgers to go with three tackles for loss. Jordan Battle came down with an interception on Rodgers while the team trailed 17-10, leading to a tied game near the end of the half as the offense scored on the ensuing possession.
Mistakes on special teams proved costly as well, as Ke’Shawn Williams muffed a punt return that was recovered by the Steelers. The turnover came at a critical moment as the Bengals led 27-24 with a chance to extend their lead in the fourth quarter. Instead, Pittsburgh capitalized on the good field position with a 36-yard field goal to tie the game.
Cleveland Browns (2-1)
The Browns won their second straight game with a 21-18 home victory over the Carolina Panthers.
QB Deshaun Watson carried the momentum from last week into another solid outing on Sunday, completing 16 of 30 pass attempts for 144 yards and two touchdowns while adding another 45 yards on 11 carries. Second-year TE Harold Fannin Jr. was the recipient of Watson’s two touchdowns while also leading the team with 51 receiving yards on seven catches. RB Quinshon Judkins led the ground attack with 70 yards on 18 carries.
LB Quincy Williams led Cleveland’s defense with nine total tackles. The unit sacked Panthers QB Bryce Young three times on the day, with two sacks coming from DT Mason Graham and DE Isaiah McGuire, while safety Ronnie Hickman snagged an interception.
Ex-Ravens WR Tylan Wallace exited the contest with a knee injury and is in danger of missing the team’s Thursday game against the Steelers.
Baltimore Ravens (2-1)
The Ravens rebounded from a disappointing Week 2 loss with a thrilling 34-31 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil.
QB Lamar Jackson’s strong start to the season continued against the Cowboys, completing 15 of 20 pass attempts for 186 yards and two touchdowns while rushing six times for 50 yards. The highlight of the game was Jackson’s 26-yard completion to WR Zay Flowers, who led the team with 84 receiving yards on five catches, with just seven seconds remaining in regulation. Jackson quickly called a timeout with one second remaining on the clock, leading to some long-awaited redemption for K Tyler Loop in the form of a walk-off 56-yard field goal. Derrick Henry was his usual self with 89 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. Baltimore’s offense now finds itself in a predicament, though, after losing both of their centers, Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic to long-term injuries during the game. Rookie first-round guard Vega Ioane took over center duties after Pocic left the game and is expected to remain there in Week 5.
The Ravens’ late-game defensive struggles remained against Dallas as they allowed 18 points in the second half. The unit made the stop in the most critical moment of the game, however, holding the Cowboys to a field goal when a touchdown would’ve won the game. LB Roquan Smith led the way with nine total tackles while notching the team’s only sack on QB Dak Prescott. The biggest story entering the game for Baltimore’s defense was the return of DT Nnamdi Madubuike from a neck injury that ended his 2025 season after just two games.
