Every year since 2014, we’ve compiled a list of the best and brightest U-23 talents working their way through Trigoria. From smash hits like Riccardo Calafiori to Roma mainstays like Lorenzo Pellegrini and even turncoats like Alessio Romagnoli, we’ve covered the full range of potential outcomes over the past 12 years.
We’ve been doing this for so long that a few of our earliest honorees, including Mattia Destro, are now retired. Given that, it’s high time we shook things up a bit. So, for the first
time in the history of our U-23 countdown, we’re putting the decision in your hands—you rank ‘em, and we’ll write about ‘em!
When making your selections, consider factors such as:
- Current ability
- Long-term upside
- Technical and tactical profile
- Likelihood of becoming an important first-team player
- Overall value to Roma’s future
This is not a vote for your favorite player or who you think will play the most minutes this season. Instead, rank the players as you would if you were assembling your own organizational Top 10 prospect list.
Instructions:
- Drag and drop the candidates (or use the arrows) to compile your own Top 10 list
- Players outside the Top 10 will be included in the Honorable Mentions section
- Vote based on your own evaluation—there are no right or wrong answers.
After voting closes, all ballots will be combined using a weighted point system to produce the official Chiesa di Totti Community U-23 Rankings, along with first-place vote totals, vote distributions, and honorable mentions.
You can vote via the embedded form below or by following this link. Thank you for your votes and look for the countdown to begin next week!
