The Los Angeles Rams have announced two new sets of uniforms, both fauxback sets that give nods to uniforms that they wore in the past. One of them, an all-white look, is named “Fearsome White” after their Fearsome Foursome defensive line that featured Hall of Famers Merlin Olsen and Deacon Jones.
It has been announced that the Rams will be wearing these uniforms against the Green Bay Packers in their Thanksgiving Eve matchup, which, after the New York
Jets’ Week 2 announcement, means the Packers will wear home uniforms on the road at least twice this season. So if you’re planning on making the trip to Los Angeles for the game, make sure to pack green garb, as the Rams will likely try to “white-out” the crowd at SoFi Stadium.
There’s still no word on what the Packers’ new alternative uniforms from Nike’s “Rivalries” set will look like, but it’s likely that they will be released soon. According to Ed Policy, Green Bay’s President and CEO, they are inspired by the team’s unique ownership structure.
