Practice was not very old when coach Brian Schottenheimer wanted to get a point across to the players.
While in the middle of individual drills, he called the group together from both practice fields and appeared to light into the players, expletives and all. After the Cowboys were in pads for three straight practices, perhaps Schottenheimer wanted to remind the players that padless practice doesn’t mean less effort.

He was discussing the state of the team’s roster and noted that they have done some small things over the course of camp, but he specifically said that he believed the 90-man roster would look different in the coming weeks. He went as far as saying that he would say this if he were a betting man.
