“Mystic Mac” is back
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) two-division champion Conor McGregor may be barred from betting on UFC fights, but big boxing events are fair game — and there’s a massive
one going down tomorrow night (Sat., Dec. 19, 2025) in Miami, Florida, as YouTuber-turned professional boxer Jake Paul takes on former unified Heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
McGregor has already set his sights on a very specific outcome: Joshua knocking out Paul within the first 60 seconds.
“I have not placed my own personal bet on this match yet I have only just set the odds.
I do like “KO in first 60seconds” at 11/1 tho.
It’s now about how much / what else ?
A collosal sum on an out right win is good too.
$5m would return win $5.6m.
This is an absolute layup fight.
It is not fixed also I know matchroom.
Jake is stupid and will be altered permanently from this bout.
I can’t just sit idly by and watch it happen without making a cool profit from it too.”
According to DraftKings, Joshua currently sits as a -1000 favorite over Paul. Joshua by knockout is listed at -340, while a first-round stoppage comes in at +155. Despite those odds, McGregor believes the specific 60-second window offers significant value.
One fan pushed back on the prediction, pointing out that a knockout inside a minute would likely require Joshua to blitz Paul immediately — something the British star has rarely done. While Joshua has five first-round knockouts on his resume, none have come in under 60 seconds.
McGregor, however, was quick to counter by referencing his own career.
“I done cowboy in 40 seconds. Dustin in 60. Aldo in 12.
All reputable, known, world and world title challengers.
Cowboy was taller and heavier than me also. I knew his shots, his reactions, and his mentality.
Paul is lighter, shorter and green baby shit in this business compared to AJ.
60 seconds is AMPLE TIME FOR AJ.
11/1 actually has me scared. I am now setting odds for these fights against my own company capital.
Vs betting to win as before.
It is peculiar and unfamiliar territory I am now in.
Either way though, it’s f—king awesome!”
Fans will find out soon enough if “Mystic Mac” adds another prediction to his legend when Paul and Joshua collide tomorrow night in Miami.
