The San Francisco Giants are wrapping up their penultimate week of the 2025 season today, which means it’s time to take a look back at the week that was and pick our favorite highlights!
I have never been more excited to live in the past. As someone who has to pre-write these weekend series, I have had this post ready to go since I woke up last Saturday to see the news that Patrick Bailey had hit a walk-off grand slam against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Easiest pick ever for
highlight of the week.
Did the Giants go on to get their butts handed to them in the next two games? Absolutely. Does past-me writing this on Monday think they’ll fare any better in the current four-game series they are playing? Absolutely not. But this is the kind of thing we’ll remember in 20 years. We may not remember much about the minutia of the season, but we’re gonna remember Bailey’s walk-off grand slam against the Dodgers.
