CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — After a brutal goal line fumble towards the end of the second quarter, all eyes were on Illinois running back Kaden Feagin to see how he would respond down the stretch.
The junior RB ended up righting his wrong with a big-time exclamation point, taking a dump-off pass from quarterback Luke Altmyer to the house for a 64-yard touchdown.
For a guy who’s 6’3 and weighs
250 pounds, Feagin sure doesn’t move like it, as he got a glimpse of open field and turned on the jets to beat the Trojan defense.
As for his fumble in the first half, that’s a ruling that’s sparked some controversy in the college football landscape and amongst Illini fans.
Whether you think the referees and the review crew in Rosemont made the right call or not is up to you, but one thing is certain — Feagin definitely redeemed himself with that huge touchdown.
