Week 15 of the NFL regular season is upon us. My Week 14 picks were thrown off a bit due to several upsets. I picked 9 of 14 games correctly. Through fourteen weeks I’m now sitting at 139-69 with predictions.
That’s 67-percent accuracy, but several points lower than how I performed last season. Let’s see how well I can do with my Week 15 picks.
Thursday Night Football — Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Winner: Buccaneers
Tampa Bay losing to the New Orleans Saints last weekend was one of the upsets I didn’t see coming. Now, they are tied with the Carolina Panthers at 7-6. The Panthers and Buccaneers will go head-to-head twice in the final three weeks of the season, but the first order of business for Tampa Bay is to get back on track against the Falcons. I believe they ultimately will.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Cleveland Browns at Chicago Bears
Winner: Bears
Both the Browns and Bears earned marks in the loss column last weekend. The Browns don’t have much to play for, but the Bears are still in the thick of it in the NFC’s playoff race. I have a feeling the Bears will find a way to keep their postseason hopes alive and get a big win at home.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
Winner: Ravens
It would take an absolute miracle for the Bengals to somehow make the postseason. The Ravens are still in the thick of it, but their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend put them on the outside looking in. The Bengals won the matchup a few weeks ago. I expect Lamar Jackson and company to perform much better this time and find a way to keep their playoff hopes alive. I’m taking Baltimore.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
Winner: Chargers
The Chargers were able to takedown the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, while the Chiefs floundered against the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football. The Chargers need this win to keep pace with the Denver Broncos in the AFC West, whereas a loss by Kansas City would all but vanquish their postseason hopes. I have a feeling Justin Herbert and company will find a way to win on the road.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
Winner: Bills
The Bills are poised for a wildcard berth in the AFC. However, they are two games behind the Patriots in the AFC East. The Patriots earned a 23-20 victory on the road in Buffalo earlier in the season. It’d be tough for Buffalo to win the division if they drop this game. With that in mind, I think Josh Allen finds a way to outduel Drake Maye.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Washington Commanders at New York Giants
Winner: Giants
After playing the Denver Broncos down to the wire two weeks ago, the Commanders were shutout and embarrassed by a struggling Minnesota Vikings team last weekend. Even worse, Jayden Daniels re-injured his elbow. Ultimately, I think the extra week of preparation will give the Giants the edge. I’ll be taking the hometown G-Men in this one.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Las Vegas Raiders at Philadelphia Eagles
Winner: Eagles
Jalen Hurts looked absolutely terrible in the Eagles’ overtime loss to the Chargers on Monday Night Football. They have some breathing room in the NFC East but need this win to end their three-game losing streak. Luckily, the Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Philadelphia, despite their flaws, should win this one easily.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars
Winner: Jaguars
The Jets are still terrible, and the Jaguars have emerged as the leaders of the AFC South. I expect Jacksonville to keep their momentum going. A big win on Sunday will help their chances of earning their first division title since 2022. I’ve got the Jaguars in this one.
Sunday Football (Early Game) — Arizona Cardinals at Houston Texans
Winner: Texans
With their primetime win over the Chiefs, the Texans are now 8-5 and currently slated as the seventh and final seed in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Cardinals continue their downward spiral. For Houston, getting this win would allow them to still have a chance at an AFC South title as well. All things considered, I’m taking the Texans.
Sunday Football (Late Game) — Green Bay Packers at Denver Broncos
Winner: Broncos
This is one of the best matchups of the weekend. Two division leaders going head-to-head. Both the Packers and Broncos have a shot at the top seed in their conference. I believe this will be a close game but feel Denver will find a way to gut out another close victory.
Sunday Football (Late Game) — Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Rams
Winner: Rams
As of now, the Lions are currently not in the playoffs. At 8-5, they are a game behind both the Bears and 49ers who are 9-4. They need this win to keep their postseason chances alive. On the flip side, the Rams need a win to keep the top seed in the NFC and stay ahead of the Seahawks in the NFC West. I’ll be going with Los Angeles in this one.
Sunday Football (Late Game) — Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
Winner: Panthers
The Saints pulled off an upset taking down the Buccaneers last Sunday. The Panthers are 7-6 and right there with Tampa Bay in the race for the NFC South. Coming off a bye week, I feel Carolina will be prepared to earn a big road win against their division rival.
Sunday Football (Late Game) — Tennessee Titans at San Francisco 49ers
Winner: 49ers
The 49ers continue to find ways to win. They’ve reeled off three in a row. Sporting a 9-4 record, San Francisco is in third place in the NFC West but poised to earn a wildcard berth. I think they will fare just fine against the Titans in this one.
Sunday Football (Late Game) — Indianapolis Colts at Seattle Seahawks
Winner: Seahawks
The injury to Daniel Jones might end up being the curtain call on the Colts’ 2025 season. After starting off the year promising, the Colts have dropped three games in a row. Now, they are hoping Philip Rivers can save their season. Stranger things have happened, but I don’t see the 10-3 Seahawks losing this one at home.
Sunday Night Football — Minnesota Vikings at Dallas Cowboys
Winner: Cowboys
The Vikings shutout the Commanders and the Cowboys lost a barnburner to the Lions in Week 14. The chances of Dallas making the postseason are slim, but a win against Minnesota would keep those hopes alive. I’ll be taking the Cowboys in this SNF matchup.
Monday Night Football — Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers
Winner: Steelers
The Steelers were able to defeat the Ravens last weekend to become leaders of the AFC North. Winners of four straight games, the Dolphins are 6-7 and still have a slim chance to make the dance. A Miami win would be a minor upset, but I’m confident that Aaron Rodgers will find a way to grind out a win for the Steelers in primetime.
