An unexpected development in the story surrounding WWE Crown Jewel and the decision to proceed with the show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia despite recent fatal attacks on the city and U.S. warnings issued as a result of those and other Iran War-related hostilities in the region.
WWE’s Nov. 7 show is switching venues. That per the X/Twitter account for Riyadh Season, the occasion and organization that brings WWE and many other events into the Kingdom.
We would like to inform you that “WWE Crown Jewel” has
been moved to a new venue. All ticket holders will receive a full refund, and tickets will be re-released to everyone within the next 48 hours
The ticket information would seem to indicate Saudi officials aren’t moving next weekend’s show far. PWInsider quickly reported that Crown Jewel will remain in Riyadh, just in another location. And Fightful Select followed by saying their sources at WWE corporate headquarters were not informed in advance, but found out about the move when we did — via Riyadh Season’s tweet.
