Chelsea were supposed to get healthier over the break, but that hasn’t exactly happened, at least not just yet, with a dozen players injured or otherwise unavailable for today’s game against Nottingham
Forest.
Some of that was expected, but some of that is certainly surprising, such as in midfield, where both Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo are set to miss out despite not dealing with any acute ailments (at least to our knowledge). Hopefully it’s just a case of loan management or precaution.
In any case, with those two out, the starting responsibilities fall to Roméo Lavia and Andrey Santos, both expected to be available after their own injuries issues.
The rest of the lineup from the WAGNH Community is more or less as expected, especially given the players available: Facundo Buonanotte perhaps the biggest beneficiary as we look to replace Cole Palmer for the next six weeks (or more).
4-2-3-1 (82%)
