Yesterday wasn’t the most fun I’ve ever had watching Tottenham Hotspur play football, but it was refreshing to read the comments and see most people being level headed and rational in their reactions. Spurs had a bad game against a team in Bournemouth that is uniquely situated to take advantage of the way Spurs play. It should also be said the Cherries had like a 95% effectiveness match — they really were very good yesterday.
Alas. We move on. Before everyone jets off on international break, there
are still four football matches to play today, highlighted by Liverpool hosting Arsenal. That should be a fun one for the neutral, and by “neutral” I mean “all non-Arsenal supporters.”
This is your open thread. Boom shaka-laka.
