According to ESPN’s Receiver Scores, which uses player tracking data to measure how open players are getting and their yards after catch potential, the Green Bay Packers’ pass-catchers are performing near
the top of their position groups.
Among wide receivers, Romeo Doubs ranks as ESPN’s third overall receiver this season behind only the Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua and the Chicago Bears’ D.J. Moore. Doubs’ “Open” score of 78 is ranked fourth in the league, only behind Moore, Nacua and the Miami Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill, though Doubs’ “YAC” score gives him the edge over Hill as an overall receiver.
At tight end, Green Bay’s Tucker Kraft ranks as the fourth overall player at the position, only behind Buffalo’s Dalton Kincaid, Las Vegas’ Brock Bowers and Dallas’ Jake Ferguson. Kraft’s “YAC” grade is only behind Kincaid and Bowers this year.
Josh Jacobs, a running back, ranks seventh in the league at his position, behind Tampa Bay’s Bucky Irving, Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson, Carolina’s Chuba Hubbard, Pittsburgh’s Jaylen Warren, Indianapolis’ Jonathan Taylor and San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey. Jacobs’ “YAC” grade of 67 only falls short to Irving, Robinson and Warren in 2025.
So all and all, the Packers have top-10 to top-5 players across the board in the pass-catching game, per this metric. For what it’s worth, Dontayvion Wicks ranks 30th among receivers, a higher mark than nine NFL teams’ number one wide receiver. Not bad.
