The Cleveland Browns made their big splash on Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft by selecting offensive tackle Spencer Fano with the 9th overall pick and WR KC Concepcion
with the 24th overall pick. Now, it’s time for you to grade each of the Browns’ first-round picks. Did general manager
Andrew Berry hit the mark and warrant an “A” on them? Or were you left frustrated by whoever else was on the board that he skipped out on?
First, we begin with Fano, who ended up being the first offensive tackle selected in the draft. Considering that Berry probably wanted Fano at No. 6 overall, but was able to trade down three spots with the Chiefs to accumulate some more assets, and still got his guy, it seems like a big win — but you let us know how you’re grading the selection.
Then, later in the first round, the Browns stayed put with the 24th overall pick and selected the speedy Concepcion, adding to Cleveland’s weakest position from a year ago. I’m excited about that addition, but do you agree with his playing style being the right fit for Cleveland?
Before the draft, the odds on FanDuel had OT Spencer Fano (2.9/1) as the favorite to be taken at No. 6 overall, which is where Cleveland was scheduled to pick before their trade. He still went to Cleveland at No. 9 overall. Was there some sources that knew Fano was the favorite to Cleveland ahead of time?
