Barcelona have reportedly verbally agreed a deal with Fenerbahce for goalkeeper Dominik Livaković.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona will pay around €4 million in total for the 31-year-old who will replace Wojciech Szczęsny as Joan Garcia’s back-up from next summer.
Livakovic will go out on loan for the 2026-27 season and then return to Barcelona next summer and take up his place in the first-team squad.
Szczesny signed a two-year contract in 2025 and is expected to hang up his boots (again) at the end of the season. The veteran admitted towards the end of last season that he knows his time at the club is nearly up.
Livaković is an experienced goalkeeper who has played for Dinamo Zagreb and Girona as well as Fenerbahce during his career. He’s also Croatia’s No. 1 and played for the national team at World Cup 2026 in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
