Only four quarterbacks in NFL history have defeated all 32 teams in the league: Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady. This Sunday, Aaron Rodgers can become the fifth. The only team the future
Hall of Fame QB hasn’t beaten is the Green Bay Packers, the team that drafted him and called him QB1 for nearly 2 decades.
Ahead of the Sunday Night Football showdown, let’s look at Rodgers’ most recent win against every NFL team while he was a Packer.
Arizona Cardinals
Record: 3-2 (0-2 playoffs)
Date: 10-28-21
Score: 24-21
Stat Line: 22/37, 184 Yds, 2 TD
Highlights
Better known as the Rasul Douglas game. The Packers were up 24-21 with just over 3 minutes left. After stopping the Packers at the goal line on 4th down, Kyler Murray drove the Cardinals down the field on what felt like an inevitable scoring drive to either end the game or send it to overtime. However, Rasul Douglas snagged an interception thanks to a confused DeAndre Hopkins in the end zone to ice the game.
Atlanta Falcons
Record: 4-4 (1-1 playoffs)
Date: 10-5-20
Score: 24-21
Stat Line: 27/33, 327 Yds, 4 TD
Highlights
Rodgers connected with Big Bob Tonyan on 3 of his 4 touchdowns and had a 147.5 passer rating. The Packers were without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard in this game, which explains why Jamaal Williams had the second-most receiving yards behind Tonyan. This game also set a franchise record of opening a season with 30+ points in 4 straight games.
Baltimore Ravens
Record: 3-0
Date: 12-19-21
Score: 31-30
Stat Line: 23-31, 268 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
Revisiting this game made my chest tight. The Packers’ defense made Tyler Huntley look like Lamar Jackson out there. With 45 seconds left and a 31-24 lead, the Packers’ defense gave up a rushing touchdown to Huntley. The Ravens elected to go for two to win the game, and somehow, the Packers’ defense came up with a stop. Despite the stress, this game was fairly significant. The win clinched the NFC North for the Packers, and Rodgers tied Brett Favre for most touchdowns in franchise history at 442. He’d break the record on Christmas Day in 2021 and would end his tenure with the team with 475 touchdowns.
Buffalo Bills
Record: 2-2
Date: 9-30-18
Score: 22-0
Stat Line: 22/40, 298 Yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
Remember Ty Montgomery? Remember Geronimo Allison? Remember Jimmy Graham as a Packer? Well, those were the Packers’ 3 top offensive players in this game. Jimmy Graham caught Rodgers’ only touchdown. The key takeaway from this game was that the defense shut out Josh Allen and the Bills, a feat that sounds almost impossible in 2025.
Carolina Panthers
Record: 4-3
Date: 12-19-20
Score: 24-16
Stat Line: 20/29, 143 Yds, 1 TD, 1 rushing TD
Highlights
This game gave the Packers their 4th win in a row at the time. Rodgers’ 143 yards would be his season-low in 2020; however, his touchdown throw to Tonyan was his 40th on the season. This game was an Aaron Jones show as the running back rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown. The biggest play of the game, however, came on the goal line when Packers LB Krys Barnes, who is now a Panther, forced a fumble on an attempted QB sneak by Teddy Bridgewater.
Chicago Bears
Record: 24-5 (1-0 playoffs)
Date: 12-4-22
Score: 28-19
Stat Line: 18/31, 182 Yds, 1 TD
Highlights
Rodgers didn’t beat anyone more than he beat the Bears, unsurprisingly. This game was one of the few bright spots in Rodgers’ last season. They were 4-8 going into this game and had lost 7 of their last 8 (woof!). The Packers defense gave up over 400 yards to the Bears, but at least they picked off Justin Fields twice. This game started a 4-game win streak for the team, but it wasn’t enough to get them into the playoffs. At least Rodgers got the win his last time facing them as a Packer.
Cincinnati Bengals
Record: 2-2
Date: 10/10/21
Score: 25-22 (OT)
Stat Line: 27/39, 344 Yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
Neither of these teams wanted to win this game. At least their kickers didn’t. Mason Crosby and Evan McPherson missed a total of 5 FGs, including 3 on back-to-back-to-back drives at the end of regulation (2 by Crosby, 1 by McPherson). De’Vondre Campbell picked off Joe Burrow on the opening play of the OT period, setting the team up for a 40-yard field goal to end the game. Crosby missed again. Thankfully, McPherson missed a 49 yarder on the next drive. Crosby finally made the game-winning field goal with just 2 minutes left in OT. I maintain that the Packers have never had a normal game against AFC North opponents.
Cleveland Browns
Record: 3-0
Date: 12/25/21
Score: 24-22
Stat Line: 24/34, 202 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
The Packers had quite a few nail-biters against the AFC North in 2021. Despite a 3-touchdown performance by Rodgers, the game still came down to the final drive, like the previous week against the Ravens. With just under a minute left, Rasul Douglas picked off Baker Mayfield to ice the game for the Packers. Aaron Rodgers broke the franchise record for most touchdowns in this game, beating Brett Favre’s previous record of 442.
Dallas Cowboys
Record: 6-2 (2-0 playoffs)
Date: 11/13/22
Score: 31-28 (OT)
Stat Line: 14/20, 224 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
This was arguably the most fun game of Rodgers’ final season with the team. The Packers were on a 5-game losing streak with the 6-2 Cowboys coming into town for Mike McCarthy’s first return to Lambeau Field since he was fired in 2019. Needless to say, it was a big one. The Packers were down 28-14 to start the 4th quarter. Christian Watson put on a show as a rookie, racking up 3 TDs and 107 yards. The Packers defense made a crucial 4th down stop in OT that led to the Packers driving down to win it on a 28-yard field goal.
Denver Broncos
Record: 2-1
Date: 9/22/19
Score: 27-16
Stat Line: 17/29, 235 Yds, 1 TD
Highlights
I know this is an article about Rodgers, but this game gave us one of the coolest Jaire Alexander moments of his career. He basically ripped the ball out of the hands of Noah Fant after a catch. The Packers had 6 sacks on Joe Flacco (I know, I forgot that he played for the Broncos too), and rookie S Darnell Savage got his first career pick. The Packers improved to 3-0, and all seemed good at 1265 Lombardi to start the 2019 season.
Detroit Lions
Record: 18-8
Date: 9/20/21
Score: 35-17
Stat Line: 22/27, 255 Yds, 4 TD
Highlights
The Aarons had a monster game in Week 2 of the 2021 season. Rodgers threw for 4 TDs, 3 of them went to Aaron Jones, who also had a rushing TD. Rodgers put up a 145.6 passer rating after missing only 5 passes the entire game. Davante Adams had 121 receiving yards. It was a complete 180 from their season-opening performance, where they lost 38-3 against Jameis Winston and the New Orleans Saints. This was also the game where Aaron Jones lost his necklace with his father’s ashes in the end zone. It was eventually found by a team trainer at 1:45 am after the game.
Houston Texans
Record: 3-1
Date: 10/25/20
Score: 35-20
Stat Line: 23/34, 283 Yds, 4 TD
Highlights
Davante Adams had himself a game, with a career best 196 receiving yards to go along with 2 touchdowns. Malik Taylor and Jace Sternberger caught the other two TDs, which is a crazy sentence to type. The Packers had a 28-7 lead early, but the Texans made things a little interesting late. After a late touchdown, the Texans were able to recover an onside kick with 90 seconds left (Packers special teams doing Packers special teams things). However, on the very next play, Henry Black forced a fumble that Adrian Amos recovered to seal the game for the Packers.
Indianapolis Colts
Record: 1-3
Date: 10/19/08
Score: 35-20
Stat Line: 21/28, 186 Yds, 1 TD
Highlights
We have to go back to Rodgers’ first year as a starter to find his first and only win against the Colts. Despite the Packers playing without two of their starting backs in this game, the secondary still managed to pick off Peyton Manning twice and return both for a touchdown. The Packers defense extended its league lead in pick-sixes, with Nick Collins and Aaron Rouse each returning one for a touchdown. Rodgers was playing through a strained shoulder as the team headed into their bye with a 4-3 record. The Colts are the only team Rodgers has beaten only one time (including playoffs).
Jacksonville Jaguars
Record: 3-1
Date: 11/15/20
Score: 24-20
Stat Line: 24/34, 325 Yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
The Packers avoided losing to the 1-7 Jaguars thanks to a 4th quarter comeback. The Packers played a sloppy game overall, including giving up a punt return TD, a fumble by Davante Adams, and an interception by Rodgers. I can’t imagine how Packers fans would have reacted if they lost to a team led by Jake Luton.
Kansas City Chiefs
Record: 2-1
Date: 10/27/19
Score: 31-24
Stat Line: 23/33, 305 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
An injured Patrick Mahomes prevented the Rodgers-Mahomes match-up everyone was hoping for. Instead, we got Matt Moore. However, Rodgers still put on a show. This game includes, in my opinion, one of the most insane touchdown throws we’ve ever seen from Aaron Rodgers. On 3rd and 1 early in the 4th quarter, with the game tied at 17, Rodgers scrambles and eventually tosses a pass into the back corner of the end zone. To most, including Al Michaels on the call, it looks like a throwaway. However, Jamaal Williams snags it for a touchdown. Rodgers placed the ball in the only place Williams could get it.
Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers
Record: 2-1
Date: 10/18/15
Score: 27-20
Stat Line: 16/29, 255 Yds, 2 TD
Highlights
This win brought the Packers to 6-0 on the season, but it all came down to the final play. Rookie Damarious Randall (remember him?) knocked away a 4th down goal-line pass by Philip Rivers with just seconds left in the game that allowed the Packers to kneel it out. It was a big day for Rodgers’ career too. He reached 30,000 passing yards in the fewest attempts in league history during this game, despite what started out as an underwhelming performance.
Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams
Record: 6-1 (1-0 playoffs)
Date: 12/19/22
Score: 24-12
Stat Line: 22/30, 1 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
The Packers were basically playing playoff football throughout December in 2022 since they were playing to keep their playoff hopes alive. They received some help in the form of injuries. The Rams were missing Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, and Matthew Stafford. It became Rodgers’ ninth straight win on Monday Night Football. This game also had Mason Crosby tie a Brett Favre record for most consecutive regular-season games (255).
Miami Dolphins
Record: 3-1
Date: 12/25/22
Score: 26-20
Stat Line: 24/38, 238 Yds, 1 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
Like the previous one, this win was crucial for keeping the Packers’ 2022 playoff hopes alive. The Packers were down 20-13 at the half, and things weren’t looking good. However, Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa gave the Packers a few Christmas gifts (3 to be exact) in the form of 4th quarter interceptions that helped the Packers cruise to their 3rd win in a row.
Minnesota Vikings
Record: 15-11-1 (1-0 playoffs)
Date: 1/1/23
Score: 41-17
Stat Line: 15/24, 159 Yds, 1 TD
Highlights
This game was more of a defensive statement. The Packers picked off Kirk Cousins 4 times, including one for a touchdown. They held Justin Jefferson to just 15 yards. To top it off, Keisean Nixon had a 105 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Packers were firing on all cylinders on New Year’s Day 2023 and had complete control of their playoff fate. All they had to do was beat the Lions….
New England Patriots
Record: 2-1
Date: 10/2/22
Score: 27-24 (OT)
Stat Line: 21/35, 2 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
This started to look like one of Aaron Rodgers’ first games of his career. In the first half, Rodgers went 4/11 for 44 yards and an 11.2 passer rating. Rodgers and the offense rallied in the second half and won the game in overtime thanks to a Mason Crosby field goal.
New Orleans Saints
Record: 3-3
Date: 9/27/20
Score: 37-30
Stat Line: 21/32, 283 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
In a game that saw two future Hall of Famers in a shoot-out, Aaron Rodgers prevailed over Drew Brees. This was the Packers’ 3rd win in a row to start the 2020 season. Adams was sidelined with a hamstring injury, which put Allen Lazard in the spotlight. The WR went for 146 yards and a touchdown.
New York Giants
Record: 4-2 (1-1 playoffs)
Date: 12/1/19
Score: 31-13
Stat Line: 21/33, 243 Yds, 4 TD
Highlights
Packers fans got to watch the Packers dominate in the snow against Daniel Jones and the Giants. Rodgers had a whopping 4 TDs and had some help with a defense that picked off Daniel Jones 3 separate times. This game came off of a brutal 37-8 loss to the 49ers.
New York Jets
Record: 3-1
Date: 12/23/18
Score: 44-38 (OT)
Stat Line: 21/33, 243 Yds, 2 TD, 2 rushing TD
Highlights
Rodgers was banged up for this one, playing through a knee injury he sustained in the home opener against the Bears (aka the “no it’s Cobb again” comeback victory). It turned into a shoot-out quickly in this one, with Rodgers throwing 55 total passes for 2 TDs and rushing for 2 more TDs. Sadly, the defense was cut up by Sam Darnold, who threw for 3 TDs. Thankfully, the Packers held on into overtime.
Las Vegas/Oakland Raiders
Record: 3-0
Date: 10/20/19
Score: 42-24
Stat Line: 25/31, 429 Yds, 5 TD
Highlights
This was a masterful offensive game from Aaron Rodgers (and Matt LaFleur). Rodgers put up over 400 passing yards and 5 TDs, without Davante Adams and Robert Tonyan. Rodgers ended the game with a perfect 158.3 passer rating, and the team improved to 6-1.
Philadelphia Eagles
Record: 4-2 (1-0 in playoffs)
Date: 12/6/20
Score: 30-16
Stat Line: 25/34, 295 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
Aaron Jones scored a 77-yard touchdown with just over 2 minutes left to put the Eagles away. The Packers’ defense smothered Jalen Hurts and sacked him 7 times. Rodgers also scored his 400th touchdown during this game, which went to none other than Davante Adams.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Record: 1-1 (1-0 in playoffs)
Date: 10/3/21
Score: 27-17
Stat Line: 20/36, 248 Yds, 2 TD, 1 rushing TD
Highlights
Rodgers took down his future team in a Super Bowl XLV rematch against Ben Roethlisberger. Randall Cobb hauled in 2 TDs and the Packers won their 3rd game in a row.
Seattle Seahawks
Record: 6-3 (1-1 in playoffs)
Date: 11/14/21
Score: 17-0
Stat Line: 23/37, 292 Yds, 1 INT
Highlights
This game was Rodgers’ return after sitting out against Kansas City due to a positive COVID-19 test. The offense only put up 3 points through 3 quarters before AJ Dillon, who had over 100 all-purpose yards, ran in 2 touchdowns in the 4th quarter. The defense picked off Russell Wilson twice, including a crucial end-zone pick by Adrian Amos in the 4th quarter.
San Francisco 49ers
Record: 6-3 (0-4 in playoffs—ouch)
Date: 9/26/21
Score: 30-28
Stat Line: 23/33, 261 Yds, 2 TD
Highlights
This was a tense game that had all of us thinking Davante Adams was dead after Jimmie Ward drove his helmet into Adams’ head on a long throw downfield (that wasn’t flagged, by the way). Miraculously, Adams returned to make the 2 clutch catches on the final drive to set up the Mason Crosby game-winning field goal. We won’t talk about the rematch in the playoffs of that year…
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Record: 3-3 (0-1 playoffs)
Date: 9/25/22
Score: 14-12
Stat Line: 27/35, 255 Yds, 2 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
This game was not the shootout fans were expecting from the two future Hall of Fame QBs, but the Packers got it done nonetheless. Rodgers threw touchdowns on their first two drives, and the offense never scored again. The Bucs were without Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Julio Jones, which made things a little easier on the Packers defense. Brady and the Bucs attempted a 4th quarter rally, but De’Vondre Campbell tipped a pass on the 2 pt. conversion that would have sent the game to overtime.
Tennessee Titans
Record: 2-3
Date: 12/27/20
Score: 40-14
Stat Line: 21/25, 231 Yds, 4 TD, 1 INT
Highlights
This game gave us one of my favorite Packers photos of all time, thanks to the snowy night at Lambeau Field. The Packers absolutely trounced the Titans in this game. Davante Adams had 142 receiving yards and 3 TDs, AJ Dillon ran for over 100 yards and 2 TDs, Rodgers had a 128.1 passer rating and only missed 4 passes the entire night. The defense picked off Ryan Tannehill twice. Just an overall fun game to watch as a Packers fan.
Washington Commanders
Record: 3-4
Date: 10/24/21
Score: 24-10
Stat Line: 27/35, 274 Yds, 3 TD
Highlights
This win gave the Packers their 6th win in a row. This was also the team’s first time wearing their fan-favorite 1950s throwbacks. Rodgers reportedly woke up with some back soreness on Saturday ahead of the game, but it seemed to be worked out by game time because the MVP looked great throwing touchdowns to 3 different receivers.
There you have it! Rodgers’ most recent win against every team in the NFL, except for the Packers. As a Packers fan, I hope this list of teams stays at 31.
