The Yankees needed a pick-me-up after losing two of three to Toronto over the weekend, and sweeping a Baltimore squad that is among the muck of Wild Card hopefuls was as good as they were going to get. The pitching remained solid, with an off-his-game Will Warren still giving them four innings and one run as the lowlight of the three starters, while the offense provided a second-straight respectable performance scoring more than five runs again. Now back in the Bronx, they’ll get another shot at the Blue
Jays as they wrap up their season series to kick off a lengthy homestand.
