Newcastle United travels to Selhurst Park on Sunday to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League, looking to halt a two-game losing run after defeats to Coventry City and Aston Villa.
Matthias Jaissle’s side enters the weekend 11th with eight points from seven matches, having also gone two straight away games without a victory and conceded in four consecutive league fixtures.
Palace sits 14th with seven points and comes into the game after a 2-2 Europa League draw with Besiktas. Pierre Sage’s side
has struggled for consistency but has won its last two home matches, while Newcastle has not won at Selhurst Park since November 2020. Palace also won the most recent meeting between the clubs 2-1.
