Maryland field hockey freshman Jordyn Hollamon was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week Tuesday, the conference announced.
Jordyn Hollamon, the younger sister of Terps defender Josie Hollamon, scored her first two career goals against Villanova Sunday. Currently tied for first on the team with five points, this is Hollamon’s first conference honor.
Prior to arriving at Maryland, Hollamon earned Delaware first team All-State honors four times and was named Division Two Delaware Player of the Year.
