The first six weeks of the 2026 NFL season are in the books and the 3-2 Carolina Panthers look far better than we expected. No, you didn’t expect Bryce Young to be leading the NFL with 309.8 passing yards per game.
Five games is enough of a sample size to say that something is definitely different this season. I can’t say that Young will continue his current pace of production, but I am confident that the Panthers won’t be in the market for a new quarterback at the top of the 2027 NFL draft.
With that
in mind, it is time to update your total win predictions for the 2026 season. As a reminder, here is their full 2026 schedule:

Of note, the Panthers have the 19th hardest remaining schedule in the league per tankathon.com. None of their hardest remaining opponents (based on record) are from the NFC South and they do appear as one of the hardest remaining opponents for eight opponents. That last fact, including the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, accounts for ten of their remaining twelve games. The only two teams for whom the Panthers are not one of the top five or six hardest teams on their schedule are the Atlanta Falcons and the Minnesota Vikings.
