First-year Florida State head coach Luke Loucks has added another blue-chip to his inaugural class, with four-star forward Collin Paul committing to the Seminoles on Wednesday.
Paul, a 6-foot-7 small forward who plays for Calvary Christian Academy in West Palm Beach, is ranked as the No. 114 overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings (No. 41 SF).
He announced his decision on CBS Sports’ College Basketball YouTube channel, saying that FSU was “the best possibility for me to reach that next goal,
which is reaching the NBA. I feel like they’ll put me in the best position to get me there. Coach Luke, he really brought the winning mentality from an NBA standpoint…I feel like he will put me in the best position as a player to be an NBA-caliber player.”
Paul’s offer list includes Miami, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, Virginia Tech, Georgetown and Mississippi State.
With Paul joining a pair of four-star prospects in center Marcis Ponder and guard Jasen Lopez, Florida State’s 2026 recruiting class is now three members deep and ranked No. 1 in the nation.
