On Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers got one of their more complete games of the season in their 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. But it was hardly perfect, as the team had plenty of issues in the first
half that required a big second half performance to overcome.
Three three-and-outs before halftime were a sore spot that the team needs to address, and the running game was barely functioning for much of the game. Thankfully, turning the keys over to Jordan Love and letting him go wild worked, but the coaching staff will surely preach the value of better balance to get off to a better start.
Earlier in the season, the team was starting hot and fading in the second half. The last few weeks, that trend has reversed a bit. But you can see the glimpses of what this team can be if they put everything together for a full 60 minutes — that team could beat any other in the NFL.

Packers fans asked for it, and the coaching staff delivered, despite their comments leading up to last Sunday’s game. Hobbs needs to earn that playing time and so far, Carrington Valentine has done far more to deserve it.

Cornerback and defensive tackle are the obvious target areas for the Packers. How about Titans DT Sebastian Joseph-Day? That feels like a good fit to this writer.
