Welcome to the back half of the weekend, everybody. You’re now officially more than halfway done with the final international break of the 2025 calendar year and last one until March. This time next weekend, we will
know how Juventus have returned from the international break, with a Saturday evening visit to the Franchi in Florence on the docket for Luciano Spalletti’s squad.
Until then, though, international football and World Cup qualifiers are still very much the concentration of many, with just a small number of places still up for grabs before the field for next summer’s tournament is officially set.
We know Italy needs to score in the double digits against group leaders Norway to actually qualify automatically. Sooooooooo, you’re saying there’s a chance? Nope, not really! Italy manager Rino Gattuso will have one more group game before he awaits to see who the Azzurri get in the play-off round.
