Mara Sadé left TNA a few months ago when her contract expired, and some have had her AEW debut pencilled in ever since. That mostly seems to be because Sadé, who was with WWE as Jakara Jackson from 2022-2025, is dating former TNT champion Kevin Knight.
Sadé herself felt pretty confident about signing with her man’s promotion, apparently. Her official website was briefly updating to claim All Elite status for her on Monday:
There’s been speculation Mara
could be Persephone’s mystery opponent for All Out on Saturday night, but there are a few candidates for that spot. Sadé kept her name in the mix this afternoon with this tweet, though:
Meanwhile, her… potential? future? current?… boss Tony Khan held a media call not long after Sadé’s post. Asked about her, AEW’s president and head of creative replied:
“We have not seen her in AEW to date, but she’s somebody that we’re definitely very familiar with for many reasons and is a tremendous young talent.
“She’s somebody that is of great interest and is a very compelling young prospect. So in her case, she’s definitely somebody to keep an eye on.”
