Today, Denver Summit FC have announced the signing of forward Olivia Thomas to a three-year contract through 2028 with a mutual option for 2029.
After three seasons at the University of North Carolina,
Thomas is headed to the professional ranks with the NWSL expansion side.
“I’m incredibly grateful for my time at UNC and excited for this next chapter with Denver Summit FC,” said Thomas. “The opportunity to begin my professional career with a new club, alongside such an ambitious vision, is something I’m really looking forward to. I’m ready to keep growing and competing at the highest level.”.
With the Tar Heels she helped guide the school to the 2024 NCAA National Championship and is widely-regarded as one of the top college forwards in all of women’s soccer.
