Three games in, and the Buffalo Bills have already utilized all of their allotted practice-squad elevations for wide receiver Greg Dortch.
The veteran receiver — and Bills primary punt returner — has been called up for Sunday’s Week 3 game against the Chargers.
As for Hancock, he was limited on Wednesday then didn’t practice the rest of the week, which hints at a practice-related ailment. Now he’ll
miss at least four games with that hamstring injury.
After a stellar summer and outstanding preseason, Hancock missed the season-opening win over the Texans played on 13 snaps against the Lions. And he was active with five tackles including one stop.
Buffalo will have another roster decision to make after this week, when the suspension is over for defensive lineman Phidarian Mathis.
I wonder if Dortch will get his first target as a member of the Bills on Sunday, with D.J. Moore and Keon Coleman both carrying questionable designations into this game against the Chargers.
