The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for Sunday’s game on Saturday and then made several roster moves earlier on Monday. CB Trey Amos (ankle) RB Jeremy McNichols (quad), and LB Jordan Magee (hamstring) were activated from injured reserve. RB Bill Croskey-Merritt (groin) and OLB Javontae Jean-Baptiste were placed on injured reserve, taking them out for at least four games. LB Austin Keys was signed from the practice squad last week, but released today. OLB T.J. Maguranyanga
was the only player elevated from the practice squad.
Four players were ruled out on Saturday due to injuries. QB Marcus Mariota (MCL) and DE Charles Omenihu (groin/ankle), while Bill and JJB were placed on IR.
Some major question marks remained, most notably with receiver Stefon Diggs (hamstring) and his questionable status. He went through a pre-game workout, he was deemed fit to play in this game and was therefore rendered active for Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. That’s a plus for a Commanders offense that needs to score a ton to keep pace with San Francisco.
