Week 2 was another quiet one for the Gophers in the NFL with many of the young players still inactive for their games, the injury to Blake Cashman making him sit out, and just not a ton of flashy performances. Eric Murray continues to stand out early in the season with the hope that someone else might join him in Week 3.

Faalele started at right guard and played all 56 snaps on offense and another seven on special teams. He had a better game against the Browns not giving up a pressure or a sack in helping the Ravens move to 1-1.

Span-Ford played 11 snaps on offense and another 17 on special teams in the Cowboys OT win over the Giants. He was targeted once and made the catch for three yards, and recorded three special teams tackles as well.
