CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — WNBA superstar and former Big Ten legend Caitlin Clark was in the State Farm Center on Thursday evening to watch Illinois versus Penn.
Clark, a current member of the Indiana Fever, took in the game from behind the Penn bench with her boyfriend Connor McCaffrey, son of Penn head coach Fran McCaffery.
But, both Clark and C. McCaffery have some familiarity with Illinois, as they both played
basketball at the University of Iowa.
In her last game against the Illini as a senior, Clark notched a 24-point triple-double and propelled the Hawkeyes to a 16 point win.
