Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
It’s time for the bye week edition of Seahawks Reacts! The confidence poll will remain in place as the weekly standard question. After a sloppy (at least offensively) win over the Houston Texans, the Seahawks are now 5-2 and the only team with a better record in the NFC are the 4-1-1
Green Bay Packers. Unfortunately, the NFC looks to be a stacked conference so it’s a tightrope for the top seed and it doesn’t take much to flal out of a playoff spot entirely. Nevertheless, the Seahawks being 5-2 and No. 1 by FTN’s DVOA could be more than enough to feel confident about the direction of the franchise. Confidence polling was at 97 percent last week, so Seahawks fans can’t get much higher.
This week’s main questions are an opportunity for you to grade the team. You’ll be handing out A/B/C/D/F letter grades for the offense and defense. Since we’re limited as far as how many questions we can put into a survey, we’re not dividing within passing offense/rushing offense and passing defense/rushing defense. Instead, take the offense and defensive in respective totality to come up with your grade. For example, the Seahawks run defense has been elite while the pass defense has been pretty good but not always great. It can still be considered an A grade for the defense if you think it’s an overall fantastic performance.
The metric for your grade is entirely up to you, by the way. You may be asked to explain your working/grading in the comments section, however!
