Undefeated, heavy hitting Argentine Alejandro Silva faces respectable pro Daniel Valdivia, who you may recall from old Top Rank shows or his appearance on The Contender. And Lateef Kayode is on the undercard! Maybe this move away from the Texas Troubadour Theatre wasn’t such a bad thing? Robbie Cockrell is The Music.

Albert Ramirez vs Lerrone Richards (DAZN, 6:30 pm ET)

From Montreal, Canada, for Ramirez’s interim WBA light heavyweight title. This fight was originally scheduled for February, but Ramirez was hospitalized with appendicitis very late in fight week. Ramirez is undefeated with an excellent KO rate, but the biggest name on his record is either Adam Deines or Gilbert Rivera. Richards is a known UK domestic level fighter (and former IBO champion!), with a notable win over the 2021 version of Carlos Gongora, but just 4 KOs among his 19 pro victories and a surprising KO loss to Steed Woodall in June of 2024.
On the undercard: More fun at light heavyweight, with Imam Khataev fighting Mickael Diallo in the chief support. Also, former WBA super featherweight champ Roger Gutierrez, 3-4 since his last successful defense of that belt in August of 2021, faces Dzmitry Asanau. Plus, Jhon Orobio and Wyatt Sandford, but not against each other.

ProBoxTV, 5:30 pm ET, Edward Vazquez vs Daniel Lugo
From College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. I’m on record as a huge fan of Vazquez, one of the smartest fighters in the game. You’ll know him from his losses, a majority and split decision, respectively, to Joe Cordina and Ray Ford. One at least debatable, the other egregious enough that Eddie Hearn said in the aftermath that his man had actually lost the fight. He dropped down to featherweight for a title shot against Rafael Espinoza in May of 2025, getting stopped in the 7th round in his only unambiguous defeat. Lugo is fighting outside of Mexico for the first time as a pro, and you’ll remember him from a 7th round stoppage loss to Eduardo “Rocky” Hernandez, also in May of 2025. Lots on the undercard, including Figo Ramirez, who looked impressive years ago in support of Vergil Ortiz vs Michael McKinson, spoke to me briefly at ringside post-fight, but never got back to me after I gave his dad my contact info to try and arrange a longer interview. I still wish the lad well! BLH may have non-broadcast live coverage in The Feed, depending on whether or not Ya Boy gets credentialed, which for some reason promoters staging fights in this area have only been confirming on Monday or Tuesday of fight week lately, so who knows?

Chris Billam-Smith vs Ryan Rozicki (Paramount+, 12:00 pm ET)

From Bournemouth, England, and in a real arena! Not Dana White’s usual pop-up punchy-punchy backyard pup tent! It’s a cruiserweight extravaganza, with Billam-Smith making his Zuffa debut. Standing between him and an obvious future matchup with Jai Opetaia? Ryan Rozicki, a Top 10-15 level cruiser making his first pro journey outside of Canada.
On the undercard: More cruiserweights! “One Smack” Jack Massey takes on Cheavon Clarke in a tidy and compelling domestic matchup. Plus, some bigger boy aspirational action at heavyweight, with Ivan Dychko facing Harvey Dykes.
Josh Padley vs Aqib Fiaz (DAZN, 2:00 pm ET)

From Sheffield, England, for Padley’s European super featherweight title. A domestic affair, with Yorkshire local Padley defending his European belt against Lancashire lad Fiaz. Padley’s only pro loss came as a very late sub against Shakur Stevenson, while Fiaz lost for the first and only time as a pro in a Commonwealth title fight against Reece Bellotti. Neither man has a reputation for fireworks, so probably best to plan your afternoon or evening around a fight that goes the full 12 rounds.
On the undercard: Ibrahim Nadim defends the British super featherweight title (and the preferred spelling of his first name) against Ibraheem Sulaimaan. Aaron Bowen and Troy Coleman square off at middleweight in the only other fight scheduled longer than six rounds.
