The Syracuse Orange (22-7, 12-6) wrapped up the regular season with a 90-65 win over the Boston College Eagles (5-26, 1-17) on Senior Day in the Dome.
Uche Izoje led the way with 24 points and 12 rebounds in 22 minutes of action. Lelia Phelia (11), Dominique Darius (10) and Maddy Potts (10) also scored in double figures as the Orange scored the first 8 points of the game and never looked back.
Syracuse dominated inside with a 56-35 rebounding advantage and the Orange defense limited BC to 2-19 from
beyond the arc. The Orange held a 41-30 lead at the half and then used a 17-7 run to begin the 3rd quarter and put the game away.
Yesterday marked the final home game for Phelia, Darius (maybe), Journey Thompson and Oyindamola Akinbolawa. It was also a time for Syracuse to honor the 2016 National Runner-Up squad who were recognized at halftime.
The 2026 Orange now head to Duluth, Georgia for the ACC Tournament where they will be the 7th seed after losing the tie-breaker to Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.
