No. 8 Maryland men’s soccer added some more hardware to what’s been a stellar 2025 campaign so far. Junior midfielder Leon Koehl was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week and sophomore goalkeeper Laurin Mack was named Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Koehl’s honors come after scoring one of Maryland’s goals and assisting the other in the team’s 2-0 win over then-No. 13 Michigan. Koehl earned the award for his performance in the same game, recording three saves in his fourth clean sheet of the year.
The Terps now sit at 8-0-3 with just five games left in the regular season, with a strong case for the best team in the country to this point.
