A massive shift in gambling odds has shut down certain prop bets for Sean Brady vs. Joaquin Buckley later tonight (Sat., May 9, 2026) at UFC 328 LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
If you’re an avid UFC gambler and watched any of the activity early Saturday you would have known something weird was going on. Massive money started to come in on Buckley, who originally opened as a +250 underdog only to completely shift to a -181 favorite just hours before the fight.
What’s alarming is the fact that this change didn’t happen over the course of a few weeks, but rather a few hours. Check it out below:
Brady, who looked fine at Friday’s early and ceremonial weigh ins, went from an opening -175 favorite to a ridiculous +185 betting underdog. There’s not much additional information at this time, but it’s enough to force oddsmakers to shut down future prop betting for the welterweight matchup.

At the time of this writing, Brady vs. Buckley is still expected to take place on UFC 328’s main card. But if the promotion decides to take action there’s already precedence for a potential cancelation based on how Michael Johnson vs. Alexander Hernandez turned out earlier this year.
