What is the story about?
Defender Alyssa Malonson has been put on the Season-Ending injury list after she tore her ACL while at preseason camp.
The Texas native joined the club after Bay selected her from the Seattle Reign in the 2024 expansion Draft. Ever since, she has been a constant presence on the field, which is why she ranks third in appearances (52).
Now Bay will have to figure out how to cover for her absence and do it quickly,
as the club opens its season at home next Saturday, March 14, against one of the expansion teams, Denver Summit FC.
