The Chicago Bears’ 2026 schedule is a good mix of exciting matchups, tough opponents, and several primetime games. While the Bears showed last season that they can make any matchup exciting, these are three can’t-miss games of the 2026 season:
Week 15 — Bears at Buffalo Bills
Some of the Bears’ bigger games come later in the season during the winter months, including a Week 15 matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.
The Bills have consistently been a playoff team in recent years. This
past offseason, the Bears traded wide receiver DJ Moore and a 2026 fifth-round pick to the Bills in exchange for a 2026 second-round pick, making this the first time Moore will face his former team.
This is one of five primetime games the Bears will play this season. A Saturday night game in late December between two contenders should be a good one.
Week 8 — Bears at Seattle Seahawks
The last time the Bears faced the Seahawks was in the 2024 season. The Seahawks beat the Bears, but it was a stinker of a Thursday Night Football game for a different reason: the total number of points scored was under 10.
Two seasons later, the Bears are set to face the Super Bowl-defending champions in another primetime slot. This game will be a clear indicator of how close the Bears are to being a championship-caliber team.
It will also be Bears safety Coby Bryant’s first game against his former team, making it an even more compelling matchup.
Week 16 — Green Bay Packers at Bears
This Christmas Day matchup is one fans should already have circled. Coming 11 weeks after the first Bears-Packers meeting in Week 5, the rematch will carry even more intensity under the holiday spotlight. With a national audience watching and potential playoff implications on the line, Soldier Field should be electric.
After their disastrous playoff collapse last season, the Packers will return to Soldier Field facing added pressure, while the Bears will have an opportunity to make a statement against their biggest rival.
Get your popcorn ready, because this is the Bears’ must-watch game of the season.
