Kansas will face its biggest test of the season as it hits the road to take on Utah.
The Jayhawks will enter the weekend with a record of 2-2 but with wins coming against LIU and Middle Tennessee, fans are waiting for the team to show something more.
This would be the ultimate statement win for Lance Leipold and Kansas this season. While many are not expecting it, the question remains — can Kansas compete?
Kansas at Utah: Betting Line & Trends
These odds are according to FanDuel Sportsbook via Thursday, Oct. 8:
- Spread: Kansas +15.5 (-110) | Utah -15.5 (-110)
- Moneyline: Kansas +540 | Utah -800
- Total: Over 50.5 (-115) | Under 50.5 (-105
The formula for Kansas has
been simple this season. They are 2-2 ATS so far with both covers coming in victory. The Jayhawks have scored 50 or more points as big favorites against inferior opponents while struggling to move the ball against both Missouri and Arizona State. With a spread this high, Kansas will have to take care of the ball in order to stay in the number. Also, the defense will have to make it difficult for a Ute offense, led by Devon Dampier, that can score quickly.
