The Golden State Warriors continue their road trip with Sunday night’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans. The game will be played at 4:00 PM PT in New Orleans and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay
Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State is coming off back-to-back wins over the San Antonio Spurs, most recently beating them, 109–108, on Friday night. Steph Curry followed up his 46-point performance in the first matchup with an even bigger 49-point night, helping the Warriors secure their first win of the NBA Cup group stage.
What to watch for tonight:
The Warriors’ two-game winning streak will now be tested against a 2–10 Pelicans team in a matchup that will serve as a reunion of sorts. Golden State will see former teammates Kevon Looney and Jordan Poole for the first time this season — though Poole has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game. Looney, however, is expected to play tonight in what will be his first game against the team he called home for the first 10 years of his career.
