Xia Brookside has the number of Lei Ying Lee. First, Brookside won the TNA Knockouts Championship from Lee at Slammiversary. Now, Brookside proved the victory was not a fluke by beating Lee in No DQ on Impact (July 9, 2026).
Lee is the babyface in this rivalry, and she was tired of being tormented by Brookside. She lost her friendship, and she lost her title. Lee promised to fight with heart in the rematch.
Lee backed up her words by attacking Brookside before the opening bell. Lee aggressively mashed
Brookside around the ring. The tide turned when Brookside chipped the knee of Lee. The champion went to work tenderizing the left leg. Brookside got creative using a belt for leverage to crank a submission.
Down the stretch, Brookside used her wits in several ways to outsmart Lee. Brookside dodged a twisting dive, and Lee crashed on chairs. Brookside walloped Lee with the championship, but that wasn’t enough to keep Lee down for the three-count. Both warriors rose up to exchange fisticuffs. Brookside’s quick thinking turned the tide for good. She pulled up a chair to block Lee’s punch. Brookside didn’t waist time on the finish. She executed a lifting DDT onto a chair, and that was the winning maneuver.
TNA posted the full fight video for your viewing pleasure. This was a pretty good match for the TV main event. Even though this was No DQ, the action didn’t go overboard into hardcore territory. Brookside cemented her champion status, and it’s likely that she moves on to new challengers.
