Good morning BBN!
We are all on the football train as Will Stein and the Kentucky Wildcats get prepared for a date with the LSU Tigers and Lane Kiffin. However, we are also tipping off basketball season.
We got our first look at this year’s Wildcats on Friday night as Big Blue Madness tipped off in Rupp Arena, and now we will get the chance to see them go through more workouts in the annual Pro Day.
In what will be a more in-depth look at the team’s overall workouts, it should paint a clearer picture
of the guys’ skill sets this season compared to the drills we saw Friday night.
As the season quickly approaches, the BBN is excited yet also cautious as we enter into the third season of the Mark Pope era. Does this team have enough to make a deep run? Do they have a go-to superstar who can win them games? How will it all mesh together? All valid questions entering the year, but we can also get some small answers tonight at Pro Day as the exhibitions approach.
You can stream Pro Day tonight on SEC Network+, and it will tip off at 5 pm ET. Tune in as we take one step closer to meaningful basketball games.
Go Cats!
