Texas A&M did everything that was asked of them and more this weekend, as they tallied double-digit run totals in all three games to sweep Missouri on the road. Batting .389 as a team, the Aggies scored in bunches and recorded runs in 13 of the possible 25 innings. A huge weekend from Gavin Grahovac paced the road warriors to all three victories and the first road conference sweep for A&M since March of 2019 against Kentucky.
GAME 1: #25 A&M 11, Missouri 9
Texas A&M (20-5, 3-4) held off a furious rally
to take the Friday opener over Missouri at Taylor Stadium in Columbia, Mo., by an 11-9 score. Up 10-1 in the fifth, the Aggies survived chilly conditions and eight unanswered runs from the Tigers (17-10, 1-6) to collect their 20th win of the 2026 season and the 50th victory of the Michael Earley era.
Both teams traded lone runs early. The Aggies struck first on Nico Partida’s first-inning RBI single, while Missouri countered with a second-inning sacrifice fly. Back-to-back crooked numbers surged A&M to a 10-1 advantage. A pair of Aggie homers propelled the visitors to a seven-run fourth. Jorian Wilson’s solo shot and Caden Sorrell’s three-run blast highlighted the frame. Wilson collected three RBI in the inning after a two-run double on his second at-bat of the inning. Texas A&M sent 12 batters to the plate in the fourth, before using seven Aggie hitters in the fifth to score two more. Terrence Kiel II was responsible for driving home those runs with his single into center.
The lead was cut considerably thanks to Missouri’s six-run fifth. Five straight singles drove home three runs before a three-run shot punctuated the big inning and closed the gap to 10-7. In the seventh, the Tigers grabbed two more for a 10-9 score using a solo shot and a two-out RBI single. With two outs and two runners on, Gavin Lyons entered and avoided additional damage to keep the lead intact.
Clayton Freshcorn came on for the eighth, working around two baserunners to keep Missouri off the board. The Aggies played small ball in the ninth to bring home an insurance run, using four free passes. Chris Hacopian beat out a would-be inning-ending double play to allow the 11th run to cross.
Freshcorn completed the six-out save, doing so in quick order with 10 pitches in the ninth. The junior has saves in four of his last five appearances, tallying six total in the campaign.
The Maroon and White showed off their speed Friday with six stolen bases, four of which came in the big fourth inning. Coming into the weekend, the Aggies had 24 swipes on the season.
GAME 2: #25 A&M 14, Missouri 6
Multi-homer days from Gavin Grahovac and Nico Partida led No. 25 Texas A&M (21-5, 4-4) to a 14-6 road victory over Missouri at Taylor Stadium in Columbia, Mo. A big Aggie lead held up, giving them their first conference series win in 2026 and back to .500 in SEC play.
The visitors started the scoring Saturday as Jake Duer brought home one on a single, while Partida delivered another RBI for an early 2-0 lead after one. An infield single got the Tigers (17-11, 1-7) on the board in the second.
Just like game one, A&M used a seven-run frame to balloon their advantage. In the fourth, consecutive singles set the table for Duer to collect another RBI. Terrence Kiel II and Bear Harrison each walked with the bases loaded to extend the lead to 5-1. Boston Kellner added a sacrifice fly before Grahovac capped the inning with a 405-foot three-run homer to push the advantage to 9-1.
One inning later, Partida stretched the margin to 11-1 with a two-run shot, the sixth of his freshman campaign. Missouri posted three in the bottom half using a sacrifice fly, two walks and a double, to chase Weston Moss.
A&M got two of those runs back immediately with Grahovac’s second longball of the game to grow the margin to 13-4. After a lone Missouri run in the sixth, Partida collected his first collegiate multi-homer game, starting the eighth with a solo blast. The fourth Aggie homer of the contest made it 14-5 and gave Partida his 11th RBI over his last three SEC games.
Gavin Lyons was the first out of the ‘pen, and his two innings of relief earned him a third win of the season. Grant Cunningham pitched the final 3.1 innings to pick up a save, despite the inflated margin of victory. All nine Aggies in the starting lineup reached base safely and scored at least once on Saturday.
GAME 3: #25 A&M 14, Missouri 3 (Final/7 inn.)
For the second straight Sunday, #25 Texas A&M (22-5, 5-4) recorded a seven-inning run-rule, defeating Missouri 14-3 to sweep the three-game set at Taylor Stadium in Columbia, Mo.
The Aggies scored 11 times between the second and third frames, setting the tone for the shortened contest. Boston Kellner grabbed an RBI single to give A&M a 1-0 lead before Gavin Grahovac teed off with a three-run shot.
A trio of homers provided the scoring in the third, as Blake Binderup tallied his fifth longball of the season, a two-run blast. Four batters later, Grahovac delivered the big blow, unloading a grand slam to center to record his second consecutive multi-homer game. The junior posted four homers and 12 RBI this weekend, certainly putting himself in the conversation for SEC Player of the Week.
Caden Sorrell followed Grahovac with a solo shot of his own to go back-to-back and extend the advantage to 11-0.
Missouri (17-12, 1-8) scored their three runs on homers, with a third-inning solo shot and a fifth-inning two-run blast, to get the margin back to eight. Aidan Sims (5-0) lasted into the sixth, getting nine punchouts in 5.1 innings of work. The sophomore from Forney, Texas, has anchored his spot in the starting rotation and currently holds a 3.77 ERA in 31 innings.
Jake Duer added the final blow, a two-run homer, in the seventh to give A&M the chance to get three defensive outs to finish the game. Ethan Darden did just that, retiring all three Tigers he faced to complete the sweep and the Aggies’ fifth straight victory.
Texas A&M returns home for their next four contests and will conclude play in March with a Tuesday midweek game against Sam Houston (14-13, 4-5 CUSA). April begins with a conference series versus the Vanderbilt Commodores (17-12, 5-4 SEC), the fourth SEC opponent of the season.
