No. 13-seed Indiana women’s basketball (18-13, 6-12 Big Ten) is set to take on No. 5-seed Ohio State (24-6, 13-5 Big Ten) on Thursday in its second game of the Big Ten Tournament.
The Hoosiers are coming off of a win over 12-seed Nebraska in the first round. They won three consecutive games in the regular season to lock up this spot in the conference tournament. While Indiana is firmly out of NCAA Tournament discussions, there’s still the remote potential of a late run through the Big Ten.
The Buckeyes
earned a bye with their excellent play through the conference’s regular season. There were some bumps down the stretch against other ranked opponents, but this is a very strong Ohio State team that will prove a challenging opponent.
The two teams have met just once this season, a 81-67 win for Ohio State in Columbus.
